Andreas Heidinger studied technical cybernetics at the University of Stuttgart. After finishing the studies at the university as a graduate engineer he worked in a development department for transmissions of a German car manufacturer for several years and was mainly engaged in topics concerning control of automatic transmissions. In 2000 he joined the Intellectual Property department of this car manufacturer and was mainly in charge of inventions concerning the drive train of vehicles. He has the qualification as European Patent Attorney, European Trademark and Design Attorney and German Patent Attorney.
Andreas Heidinger joined Sulzer Patent Department in January, 2012.
