Peter Steiner, Dipl. Phys. ETH, Dipl. NDS Intellectual Property ETH , studied physics at the Swiss Federal University (ETH) and later completed the post-graduate course Intellectual Property Studies at the ETH. He has many years of experience in the fields of microelectronics and semiconductor and assembly engineering in industry at an international company. He further was coordinator at the Swiss Federal Material, Inspection and Research Institute (EMPA) in a research project of the International Energy Agency (IEA). After his post-graduate studies in intellectual property, he worked as a patent attorney focusing on telecommunications with a patent attorney office in Berne. He has worked in the field of industrial property right protection since 1998 and has the qualification as European Patent Attorney.
Peter Steiner joined the Sulzer Patent Department in 2001.
